It has become my Christmas and New Year custom on Ways Of Thinking, to choose for you all some of the most pertinent quotes from the past year, from my blog and from those I put daily on Twitter, along with some seasonal images and beautiful depictions of winter.

This has been another hard year, with illness, sadness and loss for so many people.

The uncertainty about whether we will be able to be with loved ones this Christmas reflects the uncertainty of the world right now, as we all grapple with the pandemic.
