Eliot Hodgkin – A Christmas Present [1963] Gandalf’s Gallery. Flickr.
It has become my Christmas custom on Ways Of Thinking, to choose for you all some of the most pertinent quotes from the past year, along with some seasonal images and beautiful depictions of winter.
The year 2020 has sadly stood out for very difficult and painful reasons; we have struggled with the pandemic since March, and it continues.
We do now have some hope that the vaccine will bring an end to this awfulness, and that 2021 may turn out to be a better year for us all.
I offer these quotes and images to provide food for thought at the end of this most challenging of years. My wish is that you may see them as a gift, offered with love and hope as the year draws to a close.
Perhaps they will bring you some warmth and insight and, maybe, some new Ways of Thinking to carry forward into the New Year.❤️
